Irene’s Approach


Irene works with individuals, couples, and people in multi-partnered relationships. She provides a warm, empathetic, non-judgmental space for clients. Irene utilizes intersectional feminism and social justice, and her therapeutic interventions are geared towards client empowerment, living and loving within one’s values, and building healthy relationships with oneself and others. Irene’s goal is to help you reach your goals as effectively and efficiently as possible. She can provide therapy to clients in Utah and Nevada and relationship and individual coaching anywhere there is internet!

Education and Training

Irene has been working in mental health since 2007. She received a BA in psychology in 2010 from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in child trauma from the University of Utah in 2015. She then worked in adult community mental health and transitioned to private practice in 2018. Irene is one of the few Certified Gottman Method Therapists in Utah. She also is Certified in EMDR and Discernment Counseling. Irene is currently working on a PhD in clinical sexology from the International Institute of Clinical Sexology.
